Every Month Better Than the Last
Another month, another income report! If you’ve been keeping up, you know that I started this as a way to track my progress, provide more content, and inspire others who may want to start a blog of their own. I hate seeing a report that boasts six figures, but end up being click bait. You just find out after getting to the thick of the post that the majority of that money came from being a coach or a VA, NOT blogging! Which is fine for those people to include, but it should say “earned online”, not “earned from blogging”. Big difference.
Anyway, let’s get to the good stuff.
Traffic and Social Media Report
So there was definitely growth in the month of June! What did I do differently? I participated in an additional “100% reciprocation” Facebook thread each day. What does that mean? I promoted new posts to other website owners with the agreement that we’d visit each other’s links. Pro-traffic and impression boost; Con-traffic isn’t genuine, and there’s no other participation beyond that usually.
Does the con outweigh the pro for you? To each their own, don’t do the 100% reciprocation threads, but don’t let that stop you from coming back to me! <3

I earned a total of $11.74 through Google Adsense in June. I will apologize now for rounding up to $12 in my graphic. The clickbait was worth the $0.26 lie, and it’s not like I’m giving you false hope!
I am also a member of Amazon Affiliates, Media.net, CJ, Awin, and Share a Sale. No commission on those sites yet, unfortunately. I’m working on changing that by adding a trending products series for Amazon, and pins for the other affiliate programs. Media.net I am still trying to figure out.
How much have I earned in total from blogging? $32.05 is sitting in my Google Adsense account, waiting for a rainy day.I hate seeing a report that boasts six figures, but end up being click bait. Click To Tweet
So I definitely beat my $9 goal for revenue. YES!
Traffic: the goal was 900, I reached 1629 (92%). YES!
Email List: 20 was the goal, and I now have 16 subscribers (7%). NO (but thanks to the lovelies who did)
Pinterest: my goal was 675, and I am currently at 568 (9%). NO
Facebook: the goal was 335, I reached 252 (4%). NO
Twitter: 190 was the goal, and I actually went down to 173 (-1%). NO
Instagram: my goal was 115, I currently have 111 followers (5%). NO
I’m still slowly figuring out what the best realistic goals are, but I think I’m getting close! A lot of these ended up being just shy of reaching the goal I set. So either I need to take the goals down a notch, or try a little harder to reach them…I’ll probably just take them down a notch.
I blasted my overall growth goal of 5%, and had 11% growth overall in June. I’m going to be a little safe and shoot for 12% overall growth in July. But here are some more specific goal numbers.
I found these numbers the same way as last month. By finding the average growth for each and extrapolating from there. Math!
How do I plan to reach these numbers? Well, last month I decided to add an additional daily social media group to my participation list each month. I think that worked really well, so I’m going to make it 3 threads that I join each day, and 3 blogs that I comment on each day.
I’m also planning on making product pins for the affiliate programs I joined, so look out for those on Pinterest, and hopefully that will generate more income!
